Eddie Atkin

Eddie has worked in Private Practice since graduating in 2004 taking a keen interest in Sports Physio. He has since completed further study in this area and has become a Titled APA Sports Physio - one of only a handful on the Mornington Peninsula.

Eddie has spent much of his career working across a range of professional sports. In 2010 he was awarded a Scholarship to the Australian Institute of Sport as its Post-Graduate Scholar. During his time at the AIS, he worked with the Men's Football (Soccer) Program, as well as the Netball Program.

He then spent time working as a Sports Physiotherapist at the Hawthorn Football Club from 2010-2013 and was the Lead Physiotherapist at the Melbourne Rebels in 2014.

In recent times, Eddie has accompanied the Australian Canoe/Kayak Team to the World Championships in 2014 and has combined his love of skiing with working for the Olympic Winter Institute of Australia, accompanying Paralympic athletes to various World Cup events in 2017.

Eddie enjoys working with sports people across the full spectrum of participation; from elite athletes to social participants for both injury prevention and improved conditioning.

In his free time, Eddie loves spending time with his daughter and walking his Hungarian Vizsla.
