Concussion

Post-concussion symptoms can be mild – like headaches – or can be quite severe, including dizziness, imbalance or difficulty sleeping.

Concussion

Those more likely to experience concussion include high-achieving athletes, sporting players, lovers of horse-riding, skateboarding, BMX riding and other sports of that nature.

However, everyone can experience concussion when they get a severe knock to the head – car accidents are a common cause.

Treatment and management options

Our concussion treatment service focuses on minimising the effects of post-concussion symptoms to help you return to your original performance as soon and as safely as possible.

There is a general baseline result that individuals are encouraged to pass before returning to normal activity. However, those who are more likely to experience concussion where the risk is higher are strongly recommended to complete their own baseline test.

Whatever stage you’re at, we’re ready to help.
