Rick is one of less than a dozen clinicians on the Mornington Peninsula recognised as an APA-Titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist, a qualification reflecting an advanced level of expertise in injury assessment, rehabilitation, and prevention for elite athletes, weekend warriors, and the general public alike.
This advanced skillset is why he is trusted by elite sporting organisations. He was appointed as a physiotherapist for Football Australia in 2023, working with the Pararoos, Futsalroos, and Women's National Futsal Team. This builds on a decade of experience with Football Victoria’s high-performance programmes, Football Technique School, Athletics Victoria, and the VFL's Frankston Dolphins.
As a former elite athlete himself, having represented Australia in the inaugural Youth Olympic Games for middle distance running, Rick deeply understands the demands of performance and recovery. While he has since traded the running track for the golf course (mostly to lose balls and miss three-foot putts), he is passionate about helping people of all activity levels achieve their physical goals.
