Will Callaghan

Hand Therapist for Peninsula Hand Therapy

Will graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) in 2021. Since then, Will has worked and developed his skillset in Melbourne’s South East, Gippsland and the UK.

Will quickly adopted an interest in Hand Therapy following a rural university placement in Stawell. This gave him an insight into the value Hand Therapy can add for people of all ages and backgrounds, particularly farmers and local footy players.

For the past 2 years Will has been developing his knowledge and expertise in the UK, working in both the NHS in London and several private hospitals in and around Manchester.

Will’s specialist areas include sports rehabilitation, fracture care and post op management of various conditions, particularly Dupuytrens Contracture.

For Will, being a Hand Therapist means helping individuals return to what is important to them in a confident and timely manner. Whether that be competitive sport, hobbies, daily activities, work or socialising.

Outside of work Will loves catching up with mates, playing golf and trying his hand at anything competitive. He is an avid Richmond Tigers fan and denies any bandwagon claims.
