Kat Walker

Independent Consulting Women's & Men's Health Physiotherapist

Since completing her Doctor of Physiotherapy degree, Kat has worked in a variety of hospitals and settings. She has always been very interested in pelvic health, and found the people around her have always felt comfortable to discuss any issues they might be having. This is how Kat knew Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy was the career for her.

Kat loves being a Pelvic Floor Physio and is delighted to be able to help people achieve goals that are important to them. Like 1 in 3 women, Kat has experienced her own traumatic birth, and subsequent pelvic floor injury and dysfunction. Kat is passionate about helping people recover from their bothersome symptoms and regain their confidence.

In a previous life Kat was a researcher in the field of reproductive biology and was fortunate enough to have her work published. As a result of this experience she is passionate about holistic care that is evidence-based.

In her spare time Kat enjoys bargain hunting, painting, baking calorie dense desserts and taking care of her son, who keeps her very busy.
