After the Birth of Your Baby.

Management continues after the birth of your baby for help with aches and pains, exercises for tummy muscle recovering and toning, pelvic floor exercise (especially if you have had a 3rd or 4th degree tear, forceps delivery, or baby over 4kgs at birth).

A one-off visit might be all you need to check you are on track to a great recovery after normal or caesarean delivery.

And if you are breastfeeding, seek help at the first sign of blocked ducts or mastitis. Ultrasound provides a quick and effective way of resolving problems without the need to resort to antibiotics.
