If you have been injured at work or injured in a motor vehicle accident you may be entitled to a range of compensation to get you moving, regain strength and balance, get you back to pre injury health and stop injuries reoccurring.
Follow these easy steps to kickstart your recovery from pain and injury:
First step: Always consult with your employer for workplace injuries or directly with the TAC for motor vehicle accidents and lodge the required paperwork for compensation
Step Two: GP referrals are required to commence your Exercise Physiology program (ie. work conditioning program/functional restoration program) - referrals are valid for 10 sessions or 3 months
Step Three: Contact The Sports Injury Clinic, (let us know you want an Exercise Physiology program), have your Workcover or TAC details handy as we will need to confirm the treatment with your employer or insurance company prior to commencing a program
Step Four: Once we have confirmed your approval, we will contact you to get you started with our EP team! It’s so simple to get you back on track to full health.

What exactly does Exercise Physiology do? Exercise Physiology assists with bone strength, flexibility, balance, general health and low impact fitness.
What should I bring to my EP appointment? When you come to your initial appointment, please bring your GP referral, any letters or reports from your doctor or specialist / X-rays, scans, or other tests relevant to your condition. Dont forget to wear runners, comfy clothes and bring a watter bottle and hand towel.
What are the costs to me? The costs of the treatment are directed to your employer or their insurance company, so there is no out of pocket expense for Ex/Phys Workcover/ TAC clients at TSIC
How long will it take to get my claim approved? Initial compensation claims can take up to 28 days to process, keep in contact with your employer, their insurance company or TAC for updates on your claim.
What are my responsibilities as the patient?
