Emily Butler

rsz 1rsz emily butlerEmily has being playing hockey since she was 7 years old, initially playing as a field player Emily played for Southern United Hockey Club and for the South East Metro Sharks Representative Teams. In 2014 Emily made her first state team and represented Victoria in the U12 National Championships in Hobart, Tasmania.

Further state success came in 2015/16 when Emily gained further selection in the U13 age group for both hockey and cricket.

Follwing the U13 national hockey tournament in Perth in 2016 and a sucessful first year as a goalkeeper in the inaugural WNPL girls soccer league, Emily moved positions to goalkeeper. This led to 2 state selections through Hockey Victoria in her first year between the sticks.

The highlight of Emily's sporting acheivements to date is when she was selected as part of the U16 hockey team in 2017 for the Pacific School Games.

In her spare time when she is not playing sport, Emily loves hanging out with her family at the beach and her pet Cavalier King Charles Bentley.
