As Director and Principal Physiotherapist at The Sports Injury Clinic, Michelle Blake
has realised a long held dream to combine her expertise in physiotherapy with a passion for good health, well being, sport and exercise.
As a teenager growing up on
the Mornington Peninsula, Michelle loved and excelled in all things athletic, particularly tennis where she rose through the ranks to become second in Victoria. Later she went
on to represent Australia in the Hawaiian Iron Man Triathlon, not once but twice! It was an elite sports career that saw her compete in over 100 triathlons nationally.
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science - Physiotherapy and a Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy. And with over 15 years experience in the industry, Michelle has
built a reputation for outstanding client focused care and results.
During her career, Michelle’s expertise, skill and knowledge has been in high demand, by
educational facilities, sporting clubs and individual athletes. With her Level 1 Triathlon and Swimming Coaching certificate, Michelle has coached athletes competing in
Triathlons Australia wide. She was also contracted to design and implement preseason running programs for SEABL representative basketball team. Lecturing, speaking engagements,
training programs and workshops are just some of the ways Michelle has imparted her wide ranging knowledge and skills on the Mornington Peninsula and beyond.
Under
Michelle’s guidance The Sports Injury Clinic promises to become the premier physiotherapy clinic on the Mornington Peninsula, employing the same high standards of excellence in
patient care that Michelle has maintained throughout her professional career.
