Rick Whitehead

PHYSIOTHERAPIST & PILATES INSTRUCTOR

Rick comes from a strong middle distance running background, having represented Australia at the inaugural Singapore Youth Olympic Games in addition to achieving
multiple medals at the national level. He remains an active member of Athletics Waverly. He has experienced his fair share of injuries over the years and is able to see things from the perspective of the athlete, helping to keep them on the field of competition!

His physiotherapy interests lie in lower limb injuries of all kinds as well as lower back pain, using a combination of exercise and hands-on therapies.

Outside of the clinic, Rick is also actively involved in work with Football Federation Victoria and is currently a physiotherapist for the Men's Paralympic Football Team in addition to travelling with the U15 Girls and U14 Boys teams to their respective national championships. He also has experience working with the Caulfield Grammar School Cross-Country and Athletics squads in addition to the Old Haileybury Amateur Football Club. He has also spent time exercise testing with the Australian Institute of Sport.

Rick is a keen follower of all sports – in particular AFL, the English Premier League and the NBA. In his spare time he can be found running, playing indoor soccer or slicing golf balls into trees and water hazards.
